I have kind of an opposite issue youd expect, my apartment is so small and cramped that in order to clean a single room I have to move everything from one room into another every time. My apartment is only 600 square foot but it takes nearly 3 hours to vacuum it.

Ive seen some speculation that it looks like Photoshop's Content Aware Fill tool which a lot of people seem to not realize is AI since its been around longer than the recent gen AI stuff. Doesnt make it bettern but it is at least a potential explanation for what could have happened.
