Fifty years ago my Scout troop was raising the flag on Lexington Green. We'd practiced for a week, terrified that we'd somehow attach the wrong grommets and it would ascend upside down. We pulled it off. America, not so much

USAID, now US Forest Service. They keep demolishing institutions that were deeply problematic, but nowhere near as awful as their erasure. I think this is big, bad news, the real news of the day, not that nothing-to-see-here speech.

What corrupt politicians did with US taxpayer money. Bankrupting the better reputation [not perfect] of the USA that was earned over decades and centuries, paid for in dollars and lives. The schoolgirls died for hollow white men who want to run a department of war, endlessly. The shame.

Jill Stein never held elected office other than a local town meeting seat. Not even mayor. She never had to take the hard vote to make the sausage. I agree with many of her positions. But for nationwide election, she was a vanity candidate and spoiler.

Mamdani was in a primary for a city mayor. Completely different scenario than helping trump by not helping the only other possible candidate. We don't have ranked-choice voting. "Democracy" doesn't require you to be unstreategic.

Oh stop. The choice of " senior strategists" / bogeyman, no matter, the ONLY sensible action in the 2016 and 2024 pres elections cast a vote against mangolini. Anyone who voted 3rd party or did not vote contibuted exactly the same as a trump voter to our current status. Putin was counting on you!

This administration is wiping out decades of hard-won environmental wins. As well-meaning as they may be, Jill stein & her voters helped make this happen! I'm getting angry about it all over again. Let's hope there is a lesson learned here about realistic strategic thinking
