United Passenger Says Airline Kept Her Seated Next to Man Who Masturbated on Flight, Then Let Him Leave Without Consequence. A 25-year-old United Airlines passenger says she was forced to remain seated next to a man who exposed himself and masturbated while staring at her during a Sept. 3 flight from Rochester to Newark, and that flight attendants required her to return to that seat for landing despite her reported discomfort because no other seats were available. She says United never notified law enforcement, and the man deplaned without being stopped, even after she raised concerns at the gate that he might be boarding another flight. She filed complaints with United, the FAA, and the FBI, but says a United representative would only communicate by email, offered language she called victim-blaming, and gave her a $100 flight credit despite her not seeking a refund. United, the FAA, and the FBI all declined to provide details when contacted by NBC News. The woman says she wants the man identified and barred from flying, and is speaking out mainly over the airline’s failure to act rather than the incident itself.

I just talked to my Secretary of State office. Our machines are certified by independent company (or something- they are drafting a statement) but said this move by Trump will not affect our elections. I am also lighting up the phones of Congress to let them know my thoughts on this.
