Reedle is a trend that needs to die. The fact so many companies have had to misrepresent size, efficacy, impact to make it seem safe should say enough.

Pretty Litter is odd to me. Literally the worst litter on the planet, but seems like the investors are so heavily into the gimmick they have zero interest in ever making a product which isn't disgusting after a day of use.

Driving on Jeju Island is probably the most overstimulating driving experience, even over Manhattan. Constant speed changes, nav and signs announcing speed cameras all over the place, the cars ripping it until 50yds before the cameras then slowing down Most stunning views though.

If I lose my memory, w a family hist of it, will I feel relief from the reality of every moment reflected on the past, or horror due to deviation from cages of our human consciousness that build every moment on the past? Would living in the present be scary for reasons other than being unfamiliar?

I respect how much my youngest niece pursues experiences for the plot. Nearest Waffle House is hours and hours from her, but she and her friends still drove out to grab a bite and get pics. Obviously not about the quality of the food, but about building memories. 🫶

Feel it's so much easier to enjoy a movie when the actors aren't mega famous. Actively avoid movies with "big" actors. Can't be the only one?

Nordstrom is just overpriced Shien. Change my mind. They sell close to NOTHING made out of natural fibers anymore. It's just plastic garbage. Had considered still giving them my money for other areas like skin care or shoes. I'm just done. I can't support this dumpster company.

First they went after children's books, then all books in libraries which may serve kids, now they're forcefully changing curriculums and allowed reading for adults paying their own money to go to college. First they went for kids healthcare, then teens, then adults, now their driver's licenses.

One thing I've thought about consistently while watching The Love Is Blind series, is how almost everyone on the show seems like the type of person that would openly mock someone who met their partner online outside of a dating app. And also how the show tried to make something common, novel.

Seeing my aging sidekick cat decline so heartbreaking. She's been with me for over 15 years. She forgets when I'm home, gets scared at night, eyes are failing, she's barely active. She's happy being warm and near us, she doesn't seem like she's in any pain. Just aging. I'll miss her dearly.

Last week in Minnesota, I watched ordinary people risk their lives to protect their neighbors. In the process, they not only won a significant—though not final—victory against authoritarianism, they proved virtually every MAGA social theory wrong. (gift link) www.theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/0...
Every social theory undergirding Trumpism has been broken on the steel of Minnesotan resolve. The multiracial community in Minneapolis was supposed to shatter. It did not. It held until Bovino was forced out of the Twin Cities with his long coat between his legs.

The secret fear of the morally depraved is that virtue is actually common, and that they’re the ones who are alone. In Minnesota, all of the ideological cornerstones of MAGA have been proved false at once. Minnesotans, not the armed thugs of ICE and the Border Patrol, are brave. Minnesotans have shown that their community is socially cohesive—because of its diversity and not in spite of it. Minnesotans have found and loved one another in a world atomized by social media, where empty men have tried to fill their lonely soul with lies about their own inherent superiority. Minnesotans have preserved everything worthwhile about “Western civilization,” while armed brutes try to tear it down by force.

Wild how Gilt has become pretty much nothing but a scam site. Here they are selling a Zwilling knife set for $10 less than the manufacturer, but claiming it's a 44% discount and fabricating a listing price.
Knife set on this zwilling website for 129, full price. Same knife set on the gilt website for 119, claiming 217 full price and a 44% discount

ARK Survival Ascended came out 2 years ago, has an excessive amount of DLC and mods. And is still one of the buggiest base games I have played in decades. The dinos don't even have basic tracking for point A to point B. They just get stuck in everything all the time. And randomly teleport
