At 10°F (~-12°C) the atmospheric density of dry air is about ~1.3 kg/m^3. At 77°F (25°C) it is about the 1.168 kg/m^3. That extra 11% density has implications in convective heat transfer, as well as apparent wind. When it’s gusting 25 knots at 10°F - don’t be dumb.

I’ve been seeing a lot of discourse about masculinity and the whole dialogue just seems like a massive contradiction in gender norms in the same way someone who wants to be extremely fluid but also extremely rigid about what’s gendered or not. Nothing in my life is made worse or improved by it.

Bricks and concrete consume huge amounts of energy to manufacture and have high carbon impact. My current home was built in the late 1950s before American urban brickworks terminally declined and so it is brick veneer with form poured concrete foundations and concrete block with brick veneer.
