@drizopoulos.bsky.social and I have written a tutorial on extended joint models for longitudinal and time-to-event data. Using JMbayes2, we cover models with multiple longitudinal outcomes, flexible association structures, recurrent events, competing risks, and multistate processes.

Enjoyed being in Milan for the European Cystic Fibrosis Conference! Presented our study on the long-term effectiveness of CF modulators using US CFF registry data, challenging without a contemporary control group post-rapid adoption. Grateful to the ECFS for the Travel Grant Award.

Periodic reminder: Hyphens for double-barrelled surnames (Fisher-Box, Barndorff-Nielsen). En-dashes for shared credit among 2+ people (Box–Cox, Kaplan–Meier, Cramér–Rao, Gauss–Hermite, Newton–Raphson). Stop wasting my time (googling “did Kaplan and Meier have a kid”) by getting this wrong
