Pillowfort is more like Livejournal/Tumblr - longer form posting, an area dedicated for tags and has communities. Your stuff on Pillowfort takes more work for others to see it - you have to share it to communities & there isn't an algorithm but that means your stuff is always opt-in for sharing. +
