They restricted these surveys in multiple states in the last few years. States moved to require opt in with parental consent to administer the surveys. Then the CDC stopped reporting data about gender identity in 2025. Given the broader anti LGBTQ hostility it's not a surprise numbers declined.

Judge Blocks White House Press Ban; White House Spends Thursday Testing How Much Of The Court Order It Can Violate
On Monday we wrote about Donald Trump's direct attack on the First Amendment and the free press by banning reporters from the White House. As we expected, a judge on Thursday morning issued a Temporary Restraining Order, blocking the White House from continuing this unconstitutional action, though (as happened the last time Trump tried this)...

My detailed factcheck:
80 stock-market record highs: Which market—the S&P 500, Dow, Nasdaq, or all three combined?

Exports at an all-time high: Monthly goods-and-services exports reached $327.1B in April 2026, apparently a nominal record. But they subsequently declined to $314.7B in June and $310.7B in July.

More Americans working than ever: Seasonally adjusted civilian employment was 162.177M in July 2026, down from 163.140M in July 2025. The employment-to-population ratio also fell from 59.6% to 58.9%.

Trillions invested in America: New factories have been announced, opened, or expanded. But the post supplies no count, timeframe, baseline, completion status, or comparison with previous administrations. It also blurs new factories, expansions, data centers, laboratories and investment plans.

Border secured, 0 illegal crossings: The actual administration claim is zero releases into the country, not zero crossings. Those are completely different statistics: people can cross illegally, be apprehended, detained and removed without being released. CBP itself described “15 consecutive months of zero releases” alongside “historically low border crossings”.

Largest tax refunds in American history: By May 8, the IRS had issued $324.757 billion, 18.1% more than at the comparable point in 2025; the average refund was $3,276, up 11.5%. That supports a record-sized filing season in unadjusted dollars. But a refund is largely taxpayers receiving back money they overpaid through withholding, plus refundable credits; it is not automatically new income or proof of broader prosperity.
