there was an old woman who swallowed a fly

a creature that looks like a very tall old woman in a hospital gown steps through a doorway. its face is a false growth on the front of a huge and monstrous maw that is opening wide and dripping with saliva

if you dont like the game, fine, im not going to force you to like it, but you literally didnt give me a single bit of valid criticism that wasnt "i dont have the patience to actually play a horror game". thanks for playing.

PlazticSickelyFishe @plasticsicklyfishe.bsky.social · 21/12/2024

dont want to be rude, but i think you genuinely have never played a horror game before, horror games have TONS of walk backs and back tracking, me wanting to immerse the player on the envinroment is not me wanting premium payouts, thats actually absurd to assume.

110

PlazticSickelyFishe @plasticsicklyfishe.bsky.social · 21/12/2024

no its fine i just wish you actually fully completed the demo instead of just calling it boring saying a game is boring isnt exactly constructive criticism that i can work with

110

PlazticSickelyFishe @plasticsicklyfishe.bsky.social · 21/12/2024

well then im not really sure what to tell you, horror doesnt always needs jumpscares and monsters in your face every second, you need an actual build up for it if you could have actually pushed forward you would have enjoyed the game more but oh well, thanks for playing tho

The dress dummy, my version of the classic Silent Hill nurse.

A half figure in a nurse’s dress that looks like skin. Its bottom half is a pole that terminates in a metal x with four wheels. It has red hands and is holding a large pair of scissors. Its face is a featureless bubble of flesh, aside from two sewn on squares of fabric inside each other, a black square inside a red, an abstracted mouth and lips. It has short black hair and a nurses cap. It’s in a rusty red hallway with a grate for a floor.

Grocery store parking lot at 2:12 am

A snowy parking lot at night. An abstract, fleshy, meaty thing is draped over a rusty, bloody shopping cart. The shopping cart melts into the creature through long ribbons of flesh to the point where the cart might actually be an extension of the creature. Its head is an oval on a long neck, like a sperm. Its only feature is a hole, making its face appear like a sucker.

Yet another Silent Hill style monster. These all might be from completely different versions of Silent Hill, different iterations depending on who wanders in. These guys, the buzzing boys, are my version of the grey children from the first Silent Hill. They’re my favourite design so far, I think.

A child-sized humanoid runs at the viewer through the mist of silent hill. More of the creatures can be seen approaching as shadows. Its body appears to be made up of a mix of porcelain doll parts and twisted flesh. Its missing an arm, and Its head is a wasps nest, and several wasps circle it in nearby. It has half of a bloody pair of scissors clutched in one hand.

another silent hill monster! i'll go back and name all of these at some point.

a creature made up of four pairs of alabaster pale legs, joined together by twisted raw meat and a frill reminiscent of a tuto that grows over the top of the mass, like a clam shell or the top of a mushroom. the creature is on a dark suburban street in front of a chain link fence.

Wanted to paint my take on a silent hill style creature!

A surreal, grotesque abomination, all leathery brown flesh, exposed ribs and calloused tumours, is bent backwards over a metal pole. The pole penetrates the figure at various points along its length. It has one free arm, horribly thin and long, which it uses to drag itself up and forward. Its face is a white plaster mask facing horizontally forward, the eyes twin black holes.
