🌱 This anemone has finally opened, it has a quiff. I'm knackered after completely emptying the pond and starting from scratch. Pulled out a massive mat of roots which were the shape of the liner.

Walk partly spoilt. There's a public footpath over the golf course so I waited for some blokes to take their shots. One said I could go ahead but as I walked past he suggested in future I took a different route away from the course as it would be safer for me. Suddenly felt very alone and unwelcome

🌱Got Mum to the hairdressers, she was delighted,I earned some brownie points. On the way home a red kite swooped down on to the road in front and back up into to the field, never seen one before and it was pretty close up. Think the roses in the garden are having a fine 2nd flush!

Husband has treated himself and tortured me with tickets to see the 4K restored 1958 version of Dracula with VIP access to the accompanying exhibition at the Science and Media Museum Bradford. 😫 It's for his 60th birthday so I will put up and shut up, apart from moaning on here!

I think I may have grown these from seed from the original plant which is disappearing under an expanding shrubs. They may be a darker pink. I'll have to move them! They are pretty

This was on the back of the door from the storage area in the old Mark's and Spencers shop, Keighley. I've never worked in retail so don't know if it's a common sign. I found it a bit odd!

It's definitely a feature here, I only have patio fruit trees which I planted in the border and I had to put support in for the pear tree. What a lovely place to live!

I know, I gave away loads of bags of pebbles to make planting beds but the flags had to stay. No umph or money and didn't think they'd be recycled easily. So there's loads of creeping thyme, fleabane etc growing through the cracks. Hope that cools it down a bit!
