I’m fighting a morning migraine so I’m late for our mandatory morning walk. Cattle dog “shark attack” incoming. (Please note this dog didn’t even like walks when we got her, so she maybe can temper her faux outrage just a little).

Hmm. The original (bunk to begin with but whatever) and the WH version. Context matters. The original made Grant look scruffy and Lee pompous but the key players are the wingmen. Grant’s guys were ready to keep throwing down. Cropping them out and popping the highlights on Lee changes the message.

Supplemental Trial Cannoli Report: Second week of personal injury trial in Tucson. I have a rule that I don’t pass up cannoli when I’m traveling for work. It usually brings me a little joy. This time I should have made an exception.

Mango Chamoy Sherbet + Apple Crisp is probably one of the best ideas I’ve had in the last decade.

This is one of the most entertaining accounts of Sicilian history I’ve found. Like listening to a family scrapbook going back to the ancient tribes. Both of my family’s villages of origin got brief shoutouts! (One was for a devastating earthquake. But still cool.)

Never underestimate the power of the law library.
