Carbon nanotubes are widely regarded as a leading channel material candidate for post-silicon electronics. PKU Professor Liang Xuelei from the School of Electronics has developed all-carbon-nanotube CFET digital logic circuits and a monolithically integrated 3D sensing-computing circuit prototype.

🧠 Social functioning in autism may be more systematically organized than previously thought. Analyzing data from 94,114 autistic and 172,847 neurotypical individuals across 32 countries, a PKU team found that social functioning in autism is organized in a hierarchical and interconnected structure.

Why does phosphine vanish from brown dwarfs but persist on Jupiter? On rocky planets, PH₃ can hint at life. Brown dwarfs should be rich in it—yet most show almost none. PKU & MIT researchers found why: iron & nickel lock phosphorus into solid phosphides, slashing PH₃ by over 10 orders of magnitude.
