He’s a Padres killer, so I will not show any respect today

We conditioned this by accepting a bunch of stupid discourse over the years of adaptions being “wrong”, particularly anime that strays even 1% away from the manga, or the eternal discussion of movies not being like the book. It also muddies the water for things that actually do fumble the material.

The discourse around the RE movie is so bleak, man. I don't actually know what the point of an adaptation is anymore. I guess the point of them is that you can sit arms crossed watching a story you've seen before and nod every time they "get it right" by including shit you've seen already.

actually fixing this country is going to require declaring trumpism an inherently treasonous movement like the confederacy. winning their votes shouldn’t be a concern

Obviously the Padres had their scoring chances that they squandered and that matters much more to me, this play shouldn’t have even mattered in the first place because they should have taken care of business but what a way to lose

I was playing Torneko when the Padres scored the two runs. I’m turning back on Torneko for the 9th 🎮

I don’t particularly like it either. I think that’s why I also liked the one-game Wild Card, it put a ton of emphasis on winning your division or else you have to play the scary coin-flip game

The only reason why three games is weird is because it feels like the regular season still. You have to have at least five games to feel like the playoffs. The one game thing was interesting because it felt like a couple of Game 163s every year. Exceptionally cruel, but fun as fuck

FS1 broadcast just reminded me that the Rockies made the playoffs in 2018, a thing I do not remember happening at all now Beat the Cubs in 13 innings in the one-game Wild Card? Blanking on this completely

I hate this non-word too, but I wouldn’t say this to a stranger unless I was specifically looking to get blocked

I painted my wife's US Open Caviar Nuggets.

A digital painting of three chicken nuggets topped with creme fresh and caviar on white paper lined brown plate with more caviar in the background.

Never played it. I tried Advance Wars, did not take to it outside of the music. Vandal Hearts put me to sleep. I remember not being able to crack Phantom Brave either These are all lifetimes ago now though so who knows how I'd feel today

I’m horrendous at strategy games lol, the first time I even beat one was Shining Force on the Genesis Mini during lockdown I’ve had Triangle Strategy on the docket for years for a future Fine Time but I haven’t done it yet due to paralyzing fear

After playing the Belmont's Curse demo I feel very confident that this game will review well but basically no one will care about it in a few months because its mid as hell and doesn't get the games its trying to be like just like the Ninja Gaiden and Shinobi reboots.
