When I told my Christian mother pre-election that Trump was evil, and ask why anyone would vote for him, she told me “sometimes God uses bad people to do his will”. They are so desperate for a ‘worldly’ end, so they can get there ‘heavenly’ reward. They don’t feel guilt, they feel justified.
