Now we have six months of Pokemon pinball data, so we've updated this chart. Here's how many copies of different machines were added to locations on Pinball Map during the first 6 months of their release. Pokemon doing very well. #pinball

New Pinball Map app update (v.5.4.19). This one is largely focused on better design handling for users with LARGE SCALED system text. Like, if you set your phone's text size to be larger than default, there were previously many broken/ugly design things. And now those are mostly resolved.

While the new fields are available on the website map, the app as always lags behind. The next app update is in review. We rarely ever add new fields, in part due to the data issues. To help, filter by All Ages and edit any locations that are improperly showing up.

There are a few machines with "pinball" as the theme. But yeah, the theme could be cranked up. Too bad IPDB is down/gone...

Doesn't Solar Wars have physical flippers (you are talking about the game by Sonic/Segasa)? There are gaps in OPDB, mostly with export variants and some non-US manufacturers of the 70s and 80s. We try to fill those as we learn what is missing. I added Solar Wars to both opdb and pinball map.

Yeah, it's our personal metric. Hardest to find to play, is the idea. Seems like Solar Wars should be in the db? Not a bat game or whatever. Wonder why it's not in OPDB. www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?...

Seems like sorting by newest is a good way for people who are new to pinball (and don't read pinball news) to discover what the latest is. These new sort options are available both in the machine add/filter list and in the location's lineup.
