A few months ago we hid scores from other users in most places, and in today's app update (v5.4.25) we add them back on the machine details screen. It looks like this. You can see your own (top 10), and all scores (also top 10).

Now we have six months of Pokemon pinball data, so we've updated this chart. Here's how many copies of different machines were added to locations on Pinball Map during the first 6 months of their release. Pokemon doing very well. #pinball

New Pinball Map app update (v.5.4.19). This one is largely focused on better design handling for users with LARGE SCALED system text. Like, if you set your phone's text size to be larger than default, there were previously many broken/ugly design things. And now those are mostly resolved.

The map filter work on the website is done. This completes a refactor of search. The search input autocompletes location names, cities, or you can geocode things like zip codes. The filter button now includes a host of machine and location filters.

App update. v.5.4.7 - Bug fix when filtering for multiple machines. Filter only for exact models selected. - Link to users own activity feed of edits in profile. - Retain place in Location List when navigating back to it. - Include dummy profile for logged out users.

Made a decent-sized change to the Search UX on the website. Simplified the search input so that geographic searches and exact location name searches are combined in the same field. Then aligned UI with the app by moving other search options into a "Filter" modal. Next could be adding more filters.

New feature added: track all the machines you've ever played. AKA your pinball life list. You can add machines via your profile, or by adding a score, or by a button on the machine details. It's not for tracking location-specific games, but just canonical machines. It's just for fun.

Added RSS support for arrays of machine_ids, arrays of location_ids, as well as lat and lon in order to limit results to a radius (default 30 miles) around. Use max_distance= for a different radius. For example, the three pokemon machines near Los Angeles: pinballmap.com/location_mac...
