Like the missions used to just be more efficient or different ways to get the mogtomes, but the tokens mean you need to do the specific tasks this time so it really just makes the issues worse.

Like I do get that restricting themselves only to ARR content for these events would be very restrictive in terms of the content they can offer, but with the mount token offering a reward you can only get from minimog and ultimog, they should have prioritized more being ARR friendly.

I know the "main" objective is probably to keep people who have caught up to stay subbed rather then letting the sub lapse and just waiting until Evercold, but I do think keeping new players involved with current events where they can is always important.

I forgot to mention that the Ultimog mission this time around was also a Variant dungeon, which means the other major source of the cool new mount tokens was ALSO locked behind beating Endwalker.

I suppose there's a chance part 2 of mogtomes will have more friendly challenges, but when it's impossible to know in advance what's coming (outside of possible datamines or something like that) it feels like you could absolutely just miss out since they tied so much to beating EW this time

I like Bozja, but this week you couldn't even do a minimog unless you: A) Complete Shadowbringers, the Stormblood Alliance Raids and half of Bozja; or B) Complete Endwalker. Like most minimog missions have a much friendlier option to people who are newer to the game, which is important imo.

Pichupal || Bera (🔞 - 7.56 Spoilers) @pichupal.bsky.social · 11h

I don't think I actually like the minimog missions being big? The whole point of them seemed to be smaller fun tasks, so having them be giant (field) operations just feels... rough. I get they award more mogtomes, but even then I think the smaller tasks are still better.

A post from tumblr user tainbocuailnge: "estinien's character arc is letting go of his anger so he can stop being an empty suit of armor propelled by vengeance and go back to being a real person and he's by far the most chill of the recurring characters now that he's done that but one of his core tenets remains "there are things worth getting mad about and you should be getting mad about them" and it's funny every time when he comes across a dragon wallowing in defeatist self pity and has to go "god shut the fuck up and just get mad about it like a normal person""

Stormblood is where despite Bera's best efforts, he grows too big to hide behind Meteor's shadow and gets fame rolling his way from his efforts in Gyr Abania and Doma. And then people connect the dots to HW and ARR... Sso Bera relishes any chance he gets to be "normal" and unknown after that.

Bera actually tries to do some of Doman Restoration completely incognito after Stormblood, but then when a building almost collapses, he uses his conjury to manipulate the stone to hold it up. He's still stuck holding things up when Hien comes by to check in on the commotion.

An illustration of Phoenix stuck in the middle of chaos at the Criminal Office with Gumshoe and Maya ft Edgeworth.

Phoenix is carrying a large stack of evidence that's taller than his height, he's struggling to hold onto everything. Gumshoe is smiling apologetically at Phoenix, while Maya is too preoccupied with a Blue Badger plushie to help him. In the background, Edgeworth looks towards Phoenix with concern. Around the scene are several pieces of paper flying off from the huge stack of documents Phoenix is carrying.

Mustadio day 🔧✨🎉 #FFT #FFTactics #art

A comic page with multiple Final Fantasy Tactics characters celebrating Mustadio's birthday.
Panel 1 (flashback): Child Mustadio holds a screwdriver and a nail, looking at them in awe. An adult man's hand hands him a wooden box, saying, "Here, son. Your first toolbox."
Panel 2 (below): [Present day, at a tavern] Construct 8 lifts up an adult Mustadio, saying, "Congratulations on the anniversary of your creation, Unit Mustadio." Mustadio replies, "Thanks, big guy! You can set me down now" while sweating a little. Other party members watch them, including a smiling Alma holding a cake and Cloud watching from the sidelines with a deadpan expression. Agrias works on uncorking a bottle of wine while Ramza cheers her on, saying, "You can do it!" to which she replies, "Of course."
