Somehow "The Dragonets are Coming" is even funnier in Leaf's perspective when you realize it is written to the two of 99 bottles of beer on the wall. Cartoon you better change that song, because if Clay starts strumming 99 bottles of beer that scene will be the funniest thing otherwise.

My experience with the book dragonslayer is currently “it’s funny that Tui wrote a dragon obsessed girl in high school” but also 2/3rds of the experience is “I just want more Sky and Wren” Like I know what’s being setup with Leaf and Ivy, and it’s interesting, but Sky and Wren are more interesting

Ya know I always find it awkward to run campaigns in established worlds and dealing with canon, and I wanted to try to do one where the PCs basically replace the canon Protagonists and mess around with the butterfly effect. I thought of trying this with Wings of Fire or any 5 man band story.

Wanted to add a small thing with Winter. It is hard to see in this doodle format, but I head-canon at this point his crown isn't a Royal Icewing crown but more simple and carved with a coat of arms for Sanctuary, part of his importance in founding it. If I ran with him, he'd be an administrator ngl.

So, finished the second arc of WoF It’s worth it just for that arc. The first arc is fantastic, the second arc I think has more *flaws* but so many more strengths. I was feeling things in the first, the second is when I had to put a book down to mentally take a break for the first time in years.

"Spider" Based on a conversation I had 2 years ago. The title is "spider" and there is discussion of a spider, but no actual spiders depicted in the comic. Can never have enough Qibli/Winter domestic scenes. #WingsOfFire #wof #wofQibli #wofWinter #wofMoonwatcher #dragon

A comic featuring Qibli and Winter. Winter wakes up a sleeping Qibli, who groggily wonders what's happening. Winter then informs him that there is a spider in the bathroom. Qibli doesn't know what he is supposed to do with this information. Winter explains that he wants him to get rid of the spider, saying that, as a Sandwing who eats scorpions, Qibli should be able to deal with this problem. Qibli angrily refuses to eat the bathroom spider, to which Winter says he doesn't care how Qibli disposes of the spider, as long as he does so somehow. Qibli then walks into the bathroom, intent to see the spider and making fun of Winter. He then looks at something off-panel (implied to be the spider) and falls silent.

Smash cut to both Qibli and Winter now waking up a sleeping Moonwatcher. As Moon gets up, Winter explains that there is a spider in the bathroom, while Qibli sheepishly says "It's a lot bigger than I expected."

I love taxonomy because it is scientists getting into giant fights over DNA testing changing how to put things in a spreadsheet. I understand the entire field on a fundemental level as someone with an unhealthy perfection streak around classifying things specifically.
