i had to say goodbye to cassie last night. she was 17 years old -- 17! what a life!! -- and all she wanted these last few months was to be near me. i'm glad i got to give her that at the end, at least.
she was the sweetest cat, a gigantic pain in my ass, and i'm going to miss her so, so much.
