I'd say the last three songs are more reminiscent of og Hard-Fi are definitely the ones I like the most. "Now and Then" has the synths but blends them seamlessly into the more urban rock sound I'm familiar with. youtu.be/sh61qIIYrPk?...

It's a little all over the place, but not in a bad way, was just not at all what I expected from Hard-Fi. It's got a lot of synths and overall a more "digital" sound. I didn't click with the first two songs but the rest of the album is pretty solid.

Finally gotten around to listening to Hard-Fi's new album from June. Mixed feelings, need a few more listens I think, but Humpback Whale is definitely my standout track. I'd say this is definitely the "in-between" sound of new vs old Hard-Fi. youtu.be/ZcMzymRH-Zw?...

I wish V6 had a better way of using XLS i.e. setting it per note/group like SV can. Una's english translation is really rough but easy to circumvent by just using the closest JP phonemes possible. I'm like 2/3s with this cover but I want to add some extra backing vocals with SV Unapi

DOOM '98 Imagined what if id Software released an additional entry in the Doom series in 1998, using a technological mix between id Tech 2 and GoldSrc engine. Going for the blend of fantastical and grounded, which would be in vein of Half-Life and System Shock 2.

Took me like 2 hours but I finally got Yukari Connect NEO running with EN-> JP translation which it then feeds into VOICEROID to read out. I need to figure out how to set the timing for sentence breaks because they're too long by default, as well as the usual output BS for use with Voicemeeter/OBS

I would also say this about Tsurumaki Maki's SV standard - that parameter where you can change the phoneme expression between like 3 different options - begging y'all to use it on the starting consonant because it affects her vowel tone and pronunciation tremendously, she's very flexible!

I like Miku V3 E's pronunciation more than V4 E, like her consonants are much more pronounced, but you gotta learn your phonemes with her regardless because she does mispronounce things BUT you can use that to your advantage cause using different vowels drastically affects her tone.

Also regarding concat English VBs I do think the V2 era voices do have their charm, especially Sonika and Luka, I just think if you WANT a concat VB which sounds good outta the box AVANNA should be your go to. Or if you can get her Eleanor for Synth V R1. Or if you want me to be biased af, Miku V3 E

AVANNA is underrated af overall for like a mid-era concat voicebank she is absurdly clear, I love her pronunciation and she's a voicebank that IMO with minimal tuning sounds amazing regardless. I have a cover of DyE's fantasy i never got round to releasing w\ her, maybe I should unearth that.
