I'm gonna be cheeky and ask about having the jamBAND girlies added? Or at the very least just Maki's jamBAND outfi since you have done her other costumes! I'd be happy to commission you for everyone else!

Idk I think it's a bit shit YenMi has returned to this character after years of inactivity to give him a good send off and all anyone ever has to say is "lol how many ANRI's do we need?" Or maybe i feel like this because I'm the two cakes guy when it comes to voicebanks

Phoenix @phoboslabs.bsky.social · 04/08/2026

Why is the new Dreamtonics announcement so...ominous lol I'm trying to figure out what they're implying - logo is styled similarly to Synth V whereas Vocoflex has its own identity so I imagine it might be related to SV? I think it's an X? My working theory is it might be like an audio FX plugin

Was skimming thru some scans of HIT magazine on ye olde web archive and I just gotta share this cool Boomtown Rats album promo scan. Still gotta listen to them more!

Natalia is now unable to access her Facebook and insta due to now being reported. Suspects it to be Vocatone's head but not outright confirmed; regardless, WEIRD if it's a coincidence but the timing makes that really unbelievable especially as she's explicitly said what info she wants to get

Totally not crying at Utsu-P's recent tweet about Siinamota\PowaowaP... x.com/utsupii/stat... "Siina Mota doodled something on my work whiteboard, but I wanted to replace said whiteboard, so I cut out the illustration and had it professionally framed at Shinbashi"

Phoenix @phoboslabs.bsky.social · 20/06/2026

So fun fact, you can just straight up extract the images VOICEROID2 uses in it's interface if you take a character's "images.dat" file and change it to "images.zip". They're pretty low res especially the icons but still cool to explore as some of these illustrations aren't found elsewhere

100

Phoenix @phoboslabs.bsky.social · 09/06/2026

VOICEROID singing in tune is actually p easy once you know what frequency corresponds to what note. Timing is out of my mine field tho, I can fix that up in external programs, I just needed this specific phrase

She got redirected to ANOTHER house earlier this week and so I had to phone up to arrange collection because I never received my card, but she's finally here and this packaging is GORGEOUS. Hope to get her original Song + Talk Banks later in the year ✨

Ngl I want these new PAC-Man gacha figs soooo bad they're too cute

010

Phoenix @phoboslabs.bsky.social · 28/05/2026

I learned AviUtl2 and PSDToolkit today. It's not as complicated as it seems but changing character posing with animations and slides I couldn't figure out lol. It's a start tho!

Phoenix @phoboslabs.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

Wallhack Miku stuff arrived, glove is surprisingly comfy as hell and to say the mat's sizing was perfect for what I needed it for was an understatement :) In other news, my copy of Futaba Ko-Minato has been delivered to the wrong area so I'm waiting on an uplift of her, should be here Thu or Fri 🤞

Phoenix @phoboslabs.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

Since she's relevant again, I wonder if we will ever get a better look at Mirai Komachi's other concept designs some day. Would be a cool thing to see for her 10th! The final design we got is superb but I love seeing other concepts too 😜

000

Phoenix @phoboslabs.bsky.social · 23/05/2026

Mirai getting a V6 update wasn't on my bingo list but I'll take it! I do wonder if the ELMIRAIVE version is still gonna be used internally by Bandai Namco

I only ever played the GC Animal Crossing so I was already aware of the Villager generation with Rover - started New Leaf tonight and I genuinely did not look into generating a specific lil guy but he ended up being real close to irl me lmao. Camo shirt included!

I finally learned OpenUtau (kind of)

Phoenix @phoboslabs.bsky.social · 09/05/2026

Closer look at smol TT-chan, too cute! Idr if I mentioned it before but when there was a digital VOCALOID sale a few months back I bought her V6 :> Definitely need to look into trying her UTAU now I have OpenUTAU (somewhat) understood now lol

000

Phoenix @phoboslabs.bsky.social · 09/05/2026

Voisona Talk Type-T-chan arrived ✨ I don't know whether I just forgot or never even looked in the listing properly but I genuinely didn't realise she came with a lil keycap figure and pin badge. A very lovely package indeed! Not a big keycap person but her base is flat enough she stands on her own

100

Phoenix @phoboslabs.bsky.social · 07/05/2026

Silly Eel girl is coming to Desktop Mate!!! I was expecting her this year but not so soon as it's her 10th anniversary in a few months 🩵 Curious about a teaser tweet DM posted too, I think it might be the Tokyo 6 Girls' SVS2 outfits? Rikka was unveiled May 16th and they're always bundled together

000

Phoenix @phoboslabs.bsky.social · 01/05/2026

V6's expression feature is so fucking good I think despite the engine overall lacking things other vsynths have now (and even VOCALOID versions prior), this is the One Thing I think you must purchase V6 for, it's great for dynamic crescendo/decrescendo.

010

Phoenix @phoboslabs.bsky.social · 30/04/2026

Here's my Voisonas, I also have Mell, REML for CeVIO, but haven't redeemed their codes yet, as well as Ichica I've just shipped out and I have Ko-Minato in a warehouse until I can afford shipping lol

010

Phoenix @phoboslabs.bsky.social · 22/04/2026

Good news: You can run an instance of Voiceger 2.0.0 alongside 3.0.0. Bad news: Voiceger 3.0.0 will not generate anything for me lol If anyone ever backed up the files for ver. 1.0.0 send me that shit pls I'd love to see how it fares alongside 2.0.0

Nabbed the KAITO and MEIKO Lil Sleeper figs off vinted for a few quid, set is almost complete! I think I just need the snow Miku and the Miku in a pink kimono(?)

I caved and finally dl'd my copy of Miku V6 Early Access cause I never did upon it first releasing, and she's actually the first V6 I've sat down and used. The parameters are a bit limited compared to V5/4/3/2, BUT she's got a lovely tone and is quite reactive to the Expression function.

Phoenix @phoboslabs.bsky.social · 14/04/2026

I'm honestly obsessed with the design mostly like I'm still SHOOK LAM was hired for it, just wasn't who I was expecting but I'm very very happy, we got a Miku who's both cool and "moe" ⸜(*ˊᗜˋ*)⸝ LAM-sama is so talented, one of my top 5 art inspos ever 🩵

I haven't had the time/energy for games lately (too much shit to do and too many things to draw lol) but I'm excited about YunYun Syndrome, the denpa rhythm game finally releasing later this month. New trailer dropped which revealed Halko Momoi accompanying Nanahira as a CV - 2 eras of denpa unite!

Voiceger is an absolute anomaly of a TTS program because it will either read exactly what you want or improvise something completely different from your input text. I just want a sing-songy single word lmfao

Phoenix @phoboslabs.bsky.social · 18/03/2026

Does anyone in the UK want a used physical copy of Koharu Rikka CeVIO AI? The code has been used by the previous owner for Voisona but the CeVIO license should transfer to your PC once input! Looking for about £30 but very willing to haggle, she's in good condition! Happy to ship to the EU too!

Just finished watching the AHS Sensation online live, shout out to the other British person in chat who loves Kiyoteru 🫵 it was a super fun concert with lots of character interactions ❤️

I was looking for an old web advert for Miku I saw last year I deadass cannot find again and in the process I've come across this Kagamine Rin/Len concept sheet I've never seen before, as well as an annotated Miku silhouette made during her design development! I caved and bought Rinny....

010

Phoenix @phoboslabs.bsky.social · 25/02/2026

No one will notice but I'm adding breath samples in Voisona/CeVIO. It's not perfect but it adds a bit more emotion and realism to her voice. I should be drawing though lol

100

Phoenix @phoboslabs.bsky.social · 10/02/2026

They're really quiet but I learned you can make custom voicepacks, used the extra samples included in her CeVIO AI and Voicepeak, need to add more and see if I can fix the volume but MateEngine seems to be a nice free alternative to DesktopMate

000

Phoenix @phoboslabs.bsky.social · 10/02/2026

I set up MateEngine so naturally I had Maki groove to some GBV to test out the dance feature, it's so cute

Need to watch LycoReco for no specific reason

010

Phoenix @phoboslabs.bsky.social · 26/01/2026

Also I will add on to this I am a Ci flower stan - I like her VOCALOID versions but as a user personally, Ci-chan is much more user friendly. Don't send hate to my daughter pls

010

Phoenix @phoboslabs.bsky.social · 26/01/2026

While Ci flower is drastically different from v flower, when you really look at IA V6 compared to V3, she's kind of like, "mirrored"? Loose garments of clothing like the skirt became tight skorts, while her sleeves and boots are now loose. It reminds me of the Kagamine's hair being "mirrored"

110

Phoenix @phoboslabs.bsky.social · 26/01/2026

I feel like we should view IA's V6 design like flower's CeVIO AI - in which she's "an IA from a parallel world"

They're drip feeding us her design reveal but so far, IA V6 looks gorgeous!

Finishing chores off with Intimacy by Bloc Party. Huge fan of the "call and response" style guitar segments, and even though it came after A Weekend in the City, imo it bridges the gap between that album's style along with their first album, Silent Alarm (both of which you should also listen to!)

110

Phoenix @phoboslabs.bsky.social · 06/01/2026

Also gave vai5000's "there is a you that remains" a go today - hadn't heard of them before at all! And it's a wonderfully hazy hyperpop\EDM album ("botanica" apparently) Definitely gonna listen to it again and binge their other albums tomorrow while I work on stuff (and do more chores lol)
