The image is of a four panel comic. The title reads "Poltergeist".
In the first panel we see a woman with a worried expression on her face. She says, "stuff keeps moving around my house."
In the second panel the same woman says "I'm terrified. I can't sleep."
In the third panel we see a ghost holding a candle and a pillow that reads "live laugh love". The ghost is zooming through the house.
In the fourth panel we see the same ghost hanging up a frame and thinking, "home decor is my passion".

New blog! As an editor, I think deleting all adverbs is bad writing (and self-editing) advice. Writing is about making choices based on your intended meaning and style of writing.

Why Deleting All Adverbs is Bad Writing Advice
Have you heard the common writing advice to delete all -ly adverbs? That’s bad writing advice. Adverbs have a place in writing and should be used purposefully, not banned.

This is Ingénue (not her real name, but rather the nickname she's given when she arrives at her family's crumbling ancestral seat), the protagonist of my debut #Gothic #Horror novel. 🥀🦇 🪦 Her moodboard: www.pinterest.com/houseofwater... #LitHodgepodge #WritingCommunity #WriteSky #Gothtober
Ingénue is an approachable young woman in her late twenties with a warm skin tone and curly brown/light-brown hair.

As much as I love a crossover, I don't think the characters of Ingénue can be separated from the world of their story. In fact, I'd argue that the crumbling manor house they inhabit and its immediate surroundings are characters in and of themselves. #LitHodgePodge #WritingCommunity #WriteSky
