Day 6! Could have chosen a more obscure yokai, but i wanted to draw hime cut because i LOVE hime cuts

Monstober #6: Kitsune

Kitsunes are some of the most well-known yokais in Japanese folklore, being foxes that after a long life achieve incredible mystical abilities and intellect.

There are two main types of Kitsunes;
-The Tenko, celestial emissaries of the agricultural deity Inari. Under them there are the Koku, human-like foxes with no tails and no physical body, and the Kiko, the famous nine-tailed foxes. Other recorded Tenkos are the Kokuko, black furred ones that only appear in northern regions or during the rule of a peaceful leader, and the Kinko and Ginko, Kitsunes with gold and silver fur respectively.

-The other main group are the Nogitsunes, wild Kitsunes that use their powers to pull pranks, scare or torment people. Despite their malicious intentions, the Nogitsunes are capable of repaying kindness and keeping their words to those who do favors for them.
There are numerous stories where these kitsunes use their powers to trick and punish greedy people, making them allucinate sounds, possessing people (this type of possession being called "Kitsune Tsuki" lit. Fox Possession) or changing their appearance to that of monsters or beautiful women.

Here is a kitsune disguising in some bushes, creating from its tails a lady. Also the kitsune plushie

Day 3 Amy Rose and the Boos

As the Boos surrounded the hedgehog her eyes became overtaken with a sinister glint. She brandished her hammer and turned on her friends

Through the darkness you can see she has their eyes.

First drawing of the challenge! Here's the Manananggal from Philippine folklore!

Monstober #1: Manananggal

The Manananggal (lit. Remover) is a vampire-like mythical being from the Philippines, during the day is disguided has a normal woman, but as night falls she shows her true form by splitting the upper part of her body from the lower one, before starting her hunt, soaring in the night sky with bat-like wings.
The Manananggal preys on pregnant women, using her proboscis-like tongue to extract their blood or even their fetuses.
Thankfully the Manananggal can be killed, by locating the detached lower part of her body and burning it.
Unable to return whole, the Manananggal will die as the light of dawn starts to shine.

The drawing shows the Manananggal, first looking for a prey, her long, disgusting tongue moving as she hungers, her insides and a piece of her spine showing.

Right below, the Manananggal plunging from the to an unseen prey, her hair going in all directions and her insides dangling against the wind, all the while she prepares her tongue to suck the blood (or the fetus) of the poor victim(s)!

At the bottom, a cute plushie made to resemble the Manananggal, drawn because i had some space left and didn't know what to put lol
