Less than an hour before the storm hit, taking trees down, flooding roads, bringing ping-pong sized hail, advisor to Toronto mayoral hopeful Brad Bradford, @warrenkinsella.bsky.social, went full weather truther. Wait until these guys hear about sunsets.

This was posted by the US department of Interior. It shows the deranged viciousness of the administration on our border. We are staring down a klepto psychopath who is being egged on at every level by the power structure of the USA. They aren't joking. Canada we stand on guard for thee.

From Safe Parkside’s IG this morning. Correct to call out the local “progressive” councillor on this who did nothing for 20 years & actively opposed things like speed humps (for reasons). Betweeen him & Doug ford, not much difference on Parkside death strip.
Car crash in parksafeparkside A single vehicle crash on Parkside Drive this morning where a car somehow wrapped itself around a hydro pole causing a power outage. The driver and passenger appear to be okay. The power lines are hanging so low that trucks are clipping it as they drive by.
Police, fire and paramedics are on the scene now. A big thank you to Gord Perks 20 years of disregard and Doug Ford's absurd policies for making this possible!

It’s really important that the #Vancouver Downtown Business Association, who were originally against bike-lanes, are now among their most vigourous supporters, because of ACTUAL EVIDENCE that they’re better for downtown business than any street parking they replaced. Safe bike-lanes mean business.

The PM tried to find a"win-win" scenario with Canada's oil giants. This is why he rolled back the modest regulations that would have lowered emissions. But big Oil doesn't do "win-win". They win. End of story. My latest on the politics of a petro state. substack.com/home/post/p-...

Do you remember the summers we grew up with? Before the Super El Niño, a destabilized ocean and the multitude of urban deaths in heat-stressed cities all over the world?

The Liberal government is “appalled” at the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, which is causing economic damage. Yet it is utterly silent at the blockade of Cuba, which is causing death to innocents. That’s not only incoherent, it’s immoral.

Our Ontario Premier is a joke. Sure, invoke the for-emergencies-only NWC to remove bike lanes that won’t reduce a lick of congestion but will get people killed. Making a mockery of provincial government every day.

Marco Rubio tweets: "Today I am imposing sanctions on UN Human Rights Council Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese for her illegitimate and shameful efforts to prompt @IntlCrimCourt action against U.S. and Israeli officials, companies, and executives. Albanese's campaign of political and economic warfare against the United States and Israel will no longer be tolerated. We will always stand
by our partners in their right to self-defense. The United States will continue to take whatever actions we deem necessary to respond to lawfare and protect our sovereignty and that of our allies."
