with regard to the joseon monarchy they do call them feudalist and corrupt etc. but most of the teaching is focused on the imjin war, byeongja horan, japanese piracy, etc. it's very nationalist in flavour, and the non-war-related things get downplayed (although iirc the isolationism gets talked up)
