Excited to announce that I was a translator for the official English release of HimaNatsu! Easily one of my favourite titles Makura have ever put out. I can't wait for all of you to be able to spend one final summer in Oboshiro Village.

Some have complained that this famous line from 'Final Fantasy VII' was 'a little gratuitous,' yet although in the abstract I can appreciate their point, Sephiroth's 'name-drop' was undeniably one of the key reasons 'Xenogears' went on to sell 'eight million copies' in Japan alone.

'Sephiroth' explains that, because it is 1997, he will have to 'wait about a year' to play the 1998 game 'Xenogears.'

The point of a fan TL is to give others access to media they wouldn't otherwise be able to appreciate. If it won't reach people, your efforts are better spent elsewhere. The existence of this MTPE slop translation is actively disincentivizing all potential serious translation efforts in the future.

The Cartagra Switch release is now out! I was not involved in the localization for this one, but for those of you who have been waiting on the latest version of Cartagra to come out in English before playing the entire Kara no Shoujo/The Shell series, it's here now on the JP Nintendo eShop!

REVIEW: Ever17 finally returns to Western shores! In a… very different form than you may remember. How does the 2025 remaster of Uchikoshi's sci-fi masterpiece hold up? Do its many changes sink it to the depths, or is it tenacious enough to reach the heavens? www.kirikiribasara.com/2025/02/25/e...

It pains me to ask for this, but after reviewing my plans for the future and my current financial state, it falls on me to ask you all for help with restoring what I lost after the Palisades fire. I am not in any danger, but I have lost nearly everything I owned. gofund.me/717210be Please read desc.

Infinity is the series that got me into VNs, so on one hand, it's great that these will be available in English... ...But on the other, it's very important people know that these releases are NOT ideal. If you're thinking of picking these up, please read this thread.🧵(1/7)

Just a heads up that we'll be putting out an update to the Tsui no Sora Remake patch to fix a few small issues before the end of the year. If you happen to be playing through it, I'd greatly appreciate if you could report any typos you come across in the Discord server!
