It's got me wondering what would feature in a Kids TV Top 100, or even just a Top 50. Bluey, Hey Duggee, Sarah & Duck, Adventure Time, Steven Universe, Gumball... No end of great shows.

Gravity Falls should definitely be in the top 10.

Sounds perfect! I've got a full week of events booked (thirteen events over the five days) but it looks like I'll be lodging with some very fun people. And a good hotel breakfast is the food of the gods, frankly. #KidLitUK

Nice! I'm at Appledore next week. Sorry we'll be missing each other, but I hope you have a blast.

Gutted to hear that illustrator Terry Denton has passed away. The 13 Storey Treehouse books were foundational texts for my eldest. Fun to read aloud as a parent but, crucially, the first books he chose to read for himself, and Terry's pictures were a huge help. www.theguardian.com/books/2026/s...

A lovely review of our former Welsh Laureate's latest book. Eloise's stories are always worth seeking out. #KidLit #KidLitUK

It's been far too long since my last visit. Time to schedule another one, methinks.

While in Mousehole working on a TV project (that alas was never commissioned) I met Neil Brockman and heard the story in his own words. If this was the only thing the RNLI ever did for humanity, it would be enough to deserve our eternal respect. And they do this every day. Unpaid. For all of us.

Guys. The BBC put #DoctorWho out to tender yesterday. Production companies only have a couple of weeks to get their bids in. The Beeb are open to all formats and series lengths. So let's crowd source this thing. What should it look like when it comes back?

Sorry, I've had a bit to drink.

Also, HUGE congratulations on the episode! TTTE is one of those kids TV landmarks. A Kilimanjaro.

Remind me to tell you about the time I met the Rev. W. Awdry. (I was *very* young.)

I finally saw it on the big screen this year, and it was an incredible experience.

Consider this a pathetic plea on my part, but all encouragement will be gratefully received.

If you're looking to give the RNLI a boost, and support someone slogging their way around the Cardiff half marathon, hit the link below and help make the world that little bit better.

Happy birthday to The X-Files! Yes, it went off the rails but it was so much fun along the way. "Humbug", "Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose" and "Folie à Deux" remain some of my favourite episodes. Shout out your own favs here!

Interested in folk horror as a genre? Not seen Penda's Fen, one of its most influential tributaries? Watch tonight! (or, I imagine, on iPlayer for a while)

The RNLI are incredible, literal heroes saving lives at sea. I'm proud to support them. Now would be a really good time to donate. (It's a double win: money for the RNLI and making a stand against fa**ist idiots!)
