I have now gone two days without hitting a wild animal with my car. Came close with a wild turkey yesterday. It stared my car down as I was hitting the brakes and I fully believe it would have won in a fight had it come to that.

Not too exciting. I was on a park road. Deer ran in front of me and I couldn’t brake in time. Bounced off my hood and roof and fell beside the road. I assumed it was dead but couldn’t find it. One of my parking sensors is missing, dent in hood, deer fur in license plate.

I have lived in Minnesota almost all of my life. I had to go to Great Basin National Park in Nevada to hit a deer. Me and the car are mostly fine. The deer ran away so I can’t say much about their condition.

I’m a diabetic. I have it pretty well controlled and one of the reasons is Ozempic, which is a “weight loss drug.” I just bring this up because SOMEONE is suggesting people don’t need these medications.
