I wonder if the new HomePad or whatever (the calendar/photo/siri/etc thing mounted on your wall) gets iPhone Duo’s new matte, paper-like screen? They had to have seen how well Samsung’s The Frame did + the rising popularity of e-ink photo frames

Meta Muse appears to read your Apple messages and upload them to the cloud even if you explicitly tell it not to: appleinsider.com/articles/26/...

Up Ahead @upahead.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Back doing things, I think for real this time. iCloud sync is done, out soon. Some design updates. Watch stuff coming along too. If you're still using Up Ahead, 1. You rule and 2. There's good stuff a-comin'

And while I’m at it, here are some feature requests: - package delivery tracking or some kind of share to Up Ahead option - Siri app intents so I can ask about stuff on my timeline - Delivery background pattern (currently I use Moving but it’s a workaround)

Incredible scenes from Meta. Apparently you can prompt inject their Muse agent into giving you a root shell on the box it's running on by roleplaying that you are actually the Muse agent itself.

Attached: 1 image Not only confirming this, its extremely easy. Almost no prompt injection resistance lmao

truly is one of their best-executed products, the quality is insane and visionOS is just so good

010

Peter Lewis @peterlewis.design · 25/09/2026

incredible, but nobody will see it?

Peter Lewis @peterlewis.design · 25/09/2026

I hadn’t used my Vision Pro for *weeks*, then fired it back up and noticed the visionOS widget I’d put on my wall was *still there in exactly the same place*

I know it’s Substack and I know he quotes EY at one point and I know this whole topic is slimy but this is a good analysis of Jensen Huang’s (alarming!) interview with Ezra Klein thezvi.substack.com/p/on-ezra-kl...

thezvi.substack.com

On Ezra Klein’s Podcast With Jensen Huang

Jensen Huang accidentally called for shutting down OpenAI and intentionally called for spending vastly more on safety.

ok we’re all 38 year old millennials here or whatever but i think it’s actually an incredibly important perspective that we have to share: of the modern internet *and the world before it*, of AI-powered everything *and* the world before it

a nice way to use iOS 27 Siri is just ask it to generate alt text of the picture in the post you’re drafting (it has screen awareness), and it’s basically instant

missed this, this is really cool!

“In short, an artist can perform an intimate live show for fans at Apple Music Hall and walk out with a finished Spatial Audio recording, a broadcast-ready mix, and multicamera video - all from a single show.
Performances out of Apple Music Hall will also be livestreamed globally so fans outside of London can tune in to enjoy these one-time-only shows from their favorite artists.”
