MAG has begun interventions in southern #Lebanon. Our teams are on the ground, surveying land for hidden danger and teaching communities how to recognise and avoid unexploded ordnance, working closely with the Lebanese Mine Action Center.

New reports out this week show a 240% rise in cluster munition casualties in 2025. Cluster munitions disperse large numbers of smaller explosive submunitions over a wide area. A significant portion of munitions fail to detonate on impact, leaving a deadly legacy.

MAG's response in #Ukraine has grown in the last four years alongside the needs of communities affected by the conflict. As of July 2026, our teams have cleared more than 2.5 million square metres of land and delivered almost 16,000 explosive ordnance risk education sessions.
