My back is really bad , will be missing for at least a few days . Maybe a week , never know how long before it settles . Take care , see you when I feel better .

It’s always been my favourite of theirs . When I used to see them live , the singer would walk onto the stage alone and start singing , gradually the other members would come on when it was time for them to play . I always thought they were a better live band than what the records sound like .

#SummerJams 5 - The Smiths - Bigmouth Strikes Again Madonna might have been everywhere, but in the summer of 86 all *I* listened to was The Queen Is Dead, my intro to the Smiths and the beginning of my very complicated relationship with their singer. m.youtube.com/watch?v=Ptzh...

Totally agree , so glad you and others on here like them . Some bands just never seem to get the breaks that others get . I can never work out some bands get hit records with total rubbish while bands like The Alarm aren’t even played . I’m talking about here in Australia.

Wow , so impressed , Mike Peters is still a legend in my books . Sad he is no longer with us . Always thought The Alarm should have been much bigger than they were . I blame the press who for some reason kept comparing them to U2 at least in the mags I read when Declaration came out .
