While I'm procrastinating, here's a lil mini tutorial. Info in the first image. #scriptsky #scriptsky+

I use Scrivener for development and outlining, and then compose drafts in Fade In.
Split With Selection As Title is probably my top five favourite Scrivener features.
For example, if I have a really, really long prose treatment and I want to start breaking it up into pieces to make it into an outline or act structure (or rearrange in the binder) I can use Split With Selection As Title
and just go right through the whole thing.
Here’s an example.

SPLIT ONE (highlighted)

highlighted text with a drop down menu selecting split with selection as title.

another page with split two selected, drop down menu split selection as title and the split one listed in left binder.

close up on the binder, listing original document, split one, split two and some lorem ipsum text as files.

@itwasashtshow.bsky.social We don't like being called Crownuts, Crowbros or Crownies. REAL Crow fans like to be called Branch Corvidians.

when movies get deleted for tax reasons, they should legally become public domain. people should be allowed to upload it anywhere they want. that's the tradeoff you make if you wanna delete your own movie released this year for a few extra bucks, and i think it's fair
