Started reading through the Star Trek Adventures book and I'm loving the idea of playing a Klingon chef but contriving reasons for him to be involved in the away team missions might get tricky. I'd imagine there's multiple citations for honour duels about bad review. Klingon counsellor, though..

Bushpunk has been the game I've worked on all year, it started as a simple question and quickly became an exploration of a theme, and then found its identity in having its own game. Its a little bit Cyberpunk, a little bit World of Darkness but is at least in theme, kinda something new.

I've been writing small roleplaying games since January and my big project has been BUSHPUNK, a game about the Resistance in a dystopian near-future Australia. Part of selling games hss been to look at raising funds for an artist - but I think now the goal is to grow my own skills to do the art.

I had an incredible time running the Hope's Last Day scenario of the Alien RPG by @freeleagueunbound.bsky.social The fact the game is like "Hey if theyre dilly-dallying around or being hypercautious HERES A LIST OF WAYS TO MAKE THEM MOVE" Gang had an incredible time. There was much yelling! :D

But I'm in chapter... 9 now? And in the first boss fight I've kinda picked what that might be. Minimal narrative dissonance. They're acknowledging the mana potions, the long rests, the sorta stuff that typically pokes at gamers when they read a fantasy novel. I can already picture the videogame
