iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I know I am Au/tistic cuz this wouldn't bother and probably literally doesn't bothers anyone else, but sometimes it gets to a point where it *genuinely* annoys me, I wish I was normal!!!! Instead I was cursed with not one but TWO characters with middle names (at least w/ 🐺🪵 ppl usually put it there)

This is the stupidest pet peeve that has ever existed and I knooow that but oh my god when ppl don't acknowledge 🦁's middle name its SO ANNOYING THE "S" IS THERE FOR A REASON! WHY DOES EVERYONE IGNORES IT!!! Fake fans, every one of them, people that ignore the S don't deserve 🦁 in their life /hj

Extremely self indulgent to an almost ridiculous degree, and there's more ti it but bsky limit lol, but this silly story is what's been keeping me somewhat sane for the last few months tbh

Yeah! New sona from a story I've been working on these months with gay demon dogs, the blue is meant to be a sona for 🐺🪵 (w/ legally distinct name) and the red one is mine, this ref is for his "normal" (nondemonic) form, the blue one is a hunter that got cursed 👍 so he has to live as a hellhound

There's a special place in Hell for people like me. It's cushy. Comfortable seating and ample snacks. It's not nearly as painful as the Hell for ordinary people.

These days precision platformers, metroidvanias and soulslikes are all incredibly popular *because* they put friction in front of core gameplay systems & reward careful, intentional placement when moving the player and choosing to attack. RE had all of this and it was taken away.

there was so much gameplay depth to the movement in the original 3 Resident Evil games due to their finely tuned and balanced implementation of tank controls and the industry just collectively turned their backs on it in favor of 'push stick go direction, turn on a dime'.

Here, a perfect example of what I mean from today's run of RE2 Claire B. Notice how zombie placement, reaction speed, turn speed and movement speed are all dialed in to match the player's traversal limitations. There's incredible depth here that did not happen by accident.
