I met her dad at a caucus in Rochester 20 some years ago. He was a nice guy, I think was a reporter. Was passionate. Cared about MN. Cared about his daughter. His speech then is what actually swayed me as a delegate. Times have changed.

Glad Ilhan is okay. And also we can't treat this escalation as isolated. This, ICE raids and deportations, and every other element of the federal government being actively weaponized or destroyed for personal grievances of the ultra-wealthy is all one pattern. The fascists are testing the limits.

There’s pretty much no better badge of honor in Minnesota at the moment than “I want to make Trump’s life miserable and he hates me for it.” Of course there’s still some pockets of MAGA white people, but a lot of them have lost their Trumpy enthusiasm. Anti-Trump in MN is a big winner right now!!

Passed a house in S Mpls, Demuth/Tafoya sign with also a "Save the Boundary Waters". I get the BWCA can be a universal issue but those two candidates won't do shit for the BWCA having that they pledged to Trump.
