the AI hype cycle is currently at "do work for free, no info on salary until after they successfully raise, and any promise should not be interpreted as a promise" i think there's probably a lot of companies essentially doing this for free labor/tokens

Yes they are really that good/cheap now. Yes you should be seriously considering having agents write all your code, port your entire codebase to a better language, rewrite upstreams for you, etc. Main limit for most tasks is ambition and creativity at this point. And getting your org bought in.
