For years YEARS, I've been saying that #TRG / #TTRPG publishers need to look into localized printing to help minimize shipping costs. I get why they didn't, I do. But considering recent news I feel like we're all about to pay for the industries lack of foresight.

100% We have the printing facilities in Australia. When I buy Print in Demand products they ship from Melbourne, but my own trad published books don't arrive in Australia until months after release.

I went to a museum exhibition about Pompeii yesterday & saw these very old dice. Got me thinking about what the oldest game in my collection is. The game I've had the longest is probably the remains of my red box DnD set. The oldest game though is a 1st edition copy of Traveller. What about you?

A collection of six-sided dice from ancient Pompeii. There are nine dice in total and look to be made of bone or wood. You can clearly see the pips on the die faces.

Here's a picture of our pretty girl, living her best life. We lost her sister earlier this year and she has been spoiled rotten since. It took me quite a while to realise how that loss affected me, but I am so grateful to still have this cutie in our lives.

About...three years ago? Four? Anyway. Hippocampus press came to me for a few covers for the strange lovely work of Mr Shea. I wish I could redo the earlier ones but I think this holds up. I got his widow's approval on the artwork, which gave me a moment.

Tyrants of the Underdark is my game group's favourite boardgame. We have played it literally hundreds of times. We love the cutthroat play, the replayability with the different decks, and the different ways to win. Seriously underrated in my opinion.
