I'm officially planning to reread Ender's Game & the sequel novels. Shadow series included of course. & I'm going to try to talk a couple pals into reading at least Ender's Game + Speaker for the Dead, because lemme tell ya, reading Speaker for the Dead the first time was INCREDIBLE to me. Do it.

I'm reading a book, it's pretty good so far, except now everyone in this village is wearing a mask-- the kind that fits across your face with an elastic band around the head. & I just... does no one in this village wear glasses? Those masks are a nightmare with glasses.

I played through one in-game day, & I DID enjoy it but I got hit with that thing that happens to my brain when I first try a farm sim where it says "haha I'M LOST, THERE'S TOO MUCH NEW"

Having less "am I good enough?" & "wow people are annoying" moments, more "wfh is AWESOME" & "erring on the side of not trying too hard is what the bosses want?" moments. It's a weird point in time where work is slow for now, everyone knows work is slow for now, but they're still hiring more people
