As kids, a lot of us go through a destructive phase where we destroy some of our toys out of boredom/curiosity. M80s to an action figure, Hot Wheels in a vice clamp, sharpee pen “customs”. What is your biggest destructive regret? For me it’s destroying all of my Hot Wheels in the vice clamp. Ugh.

I think one of the hardest parts about losing a pet is getting used to a new normal without them. I keep going to try to fill her water bowl or call her over for food scraps or to look over to see her sleeping. Its going to take some time to retrain my brain.

I went to wake up my kids the other day because it was late morning and didn’t want them wasting the day away but then I remembered that a real good night sleep for me is like 5 hours so I walked away and let them sleep. Enjoy those long sleep sessions kids before they are gone for good.

Lucy had a major stroke last week. She is recovering but at 16, we know time is very limited with her. We are showering her with love and her favorite foods so we can spend her final months as best we can. Rocky continues to try and snuggle with her and be a good younger brother.

Once when I was 9, i had a sleepover at my cousins house.
