I love the contrast between the sweet and innocent rainbow and happy sun to the gross out monster heads. This means they are adorable and not scary.

Now that I have seen the first two waves, I am definitely interested in this line. If they can keep the price decent for regular releases I will probably collect. I don’t know anything about DC past 2004 so I am only interested in characters and costumes from before that time.

They are opening a new Worlds Gym across from my work so I wanted to see what it was all about. Apparently they have rooms for posing and yeah, I am literally never stepping into that room ever.

So its basically a crowd fund now which is lame. I wasn’t going to get this set anyway because that price is dumb but hate that they changed their policy.

First impressions of the new Mattel DC line. Looks really good, love the posable cape, not really my “era” of Batman, don’t really need. 100$!!!!. Yeah, definitely don’t need this.

I believe this is their new made to order policy in general. You get charged at the end of preorder window now.

Ha, fair. It just feels satisfying

I usually just block them. I really dont have the energy to deal with them.

I really love what NECA is doing with the Disney license I just don’t love their track record for quality control.

You know, I try real hard not to give WWE any of my money but for Mr Perfect, I had to make an exception.

My doctor is Eastern European and she calls my sweatshirts blouses so whenever she says it I feel like this.

Back before social media, we only had one opportunity to get our message out there.

Hobbies being ruined by the grifter community is the worst development.

So now I need to be invited to get an opportunity to buy my kids a toy? I hate this timeline.

Super 7 is having a pretty decent sale right now on in stock Reaction+ figures.

Its like buying a new car lol. Oh you want the figure and the parrot animal accessory? Thats going to bump you into the deluxe range.

Also to pile on that they have majorly slimmed down their work force and added in the use of Ai to create packaging. Less for more from top to bottom.

Supposedly he wanted to just put up all his Halloween and Christmas decorations at once and then just decided to keep them all on at once.

This is why I have majorly shifted to buying old comic books than modern collectibles. Its affordable and more rewarding.

I mostly cherry pick from Hasbro now but a lot of that is on clearance.

Peppers Ghost @peppersghost.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

I do not have access to their internal numbers here so its impossible to give feedback but I will point to what Nintendo did when they received their tariff check from the government. Give back to the collectors somehow. Dont just put head in the sand.

020

Peppers Ghost @peppersghost.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

They are doing literally nothing to help offset prices though. Nothing. Your more than welcome to feel this way but we can not excuse them just because the current government has put up a few road blocks.

110

Peppers Ghost @peppersghost.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Its just sad really. Not sure that this is sustainable in the long run. Are we seeing the end of modern action figures as we know it? Maybe dividing the collector and kid segments so far apart did more damage than it was worth.

160

Peppers Ghost @peppersghost.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

The more you tolerate these price increases the more Hasbro will increase them. As collectors we need to get over fomo and start telling these souless corporations that we wont accept price gouging anymore. Find a way to make these toys affordable or don’t even bother.

We watched the first Venom movie for the first time and it was pretty fun. Totally wasn’t expecting Sideshow Bob to show up at the end but pretty cool twist.
