Who doesn't love a good Hallmark Christmas movie? We decided to make our own in HOMETOWN HOLIDAY. Join us as our festive trio fight to be the love interest in our very own Hallmark movie. Oh, and it's gay, obviously. Available wherever you get your podcasts! #ttrpg #actualplay #podcast

Digital artwork by Sara Keep of three characters from the podcast Roll Plus Heart. On the left a woman with dark, shoulder length hair is dressed in a corporate-looking green suit. In the centre, a woman with light brown hair in a ponytail wears earmuffs, a purple gilet, jeans, and ugg boots. On the right a person with short dark hair and an undercut is in a flannel shirt, jeans and work boots with a carabiner of keys at their belt. All three hold a takeaway coffee cup.

We wrote a #ttrpg! And as a treat, we played it for you! SERVICE STATION WARS is a game where you play as employees at a motorway service station, battling it out against... other employees at a motorway service station. Poetic stuff. Ep. 1 available everywhere! #actualplay #podcast

Digital art of four characters: a tired-looking woman in a green polo and glasses with her hands on her hips; a shy-looking sandy-haired young man in a blue polo; a blonde man in a hi-vis vest and cargo shorts with his arm over the shy-looking man's shoulders, and a grey-haired man in a ginger toupee and false moustache who could not more clearly be an undercover boss.

Ever hated someone so much you want to release a pig at their wedding? That's right, this week we're starting a game of PIG AT A WEDDING by @gshowitt.bsky.social because we can never resist a classic Grant Howitt game. Ep 1 available now wherever you get your podcasts! #ttrpg #actualplay

Digital art of three characters in a cartoonish style, with a lubed-up pig in the foreground. On the right, a brown-haired woman with smudged make up in a green evening dress looks distressed. In the centre, a blonde, muscular person wearing a suit with the sleeves ripped off attempts to catch the pig. On the right, a man with moustache and goatee in a purple suit and hat has fumbled a tray of canapes.

Thirsty Sword Lesbians (from @evilhat.bsky.social ) is even better when you play it the second time around, it turns out. Find out why in our latest blog post: www.rollplusheart.co... #ttrpg #actualplay #ttrpgreview

Today is the finale for season one of Quest Fantastic. It’s kinda wild to think that we’ve told a complete story over the past two years and I'm really proud of what we’ve accomplished. I love the Quest Fantastic gang with all my heart and can’t wait to tell more stories with them in season two.

I will say however that this year, Petey was my personal and Spotify number one, which really goes to show how much I got into his music in 2023! As with most of my musical taste, this selection is eclectic as hell but I truly recommend checking out all these bands and artists.

Sara Keep @penguinpanic.bsky.social · 29/11/2023

My Spotify Wrapped has never been a particularly accurate reflection of my year because when I enjoy a band or artist I usually end up just buying their albums, so because of this I make my own end of year top fives.

Paul Goodman and I recorded a game of ‘My Red Goddess’ by Daniele Di Rubbo for the Quest Fantastic Patreon. It was super fun to play out a classic Noir tale with Paul and I think I successfully managed to cram in as many tropes as possible.

The eighteenth game we played on Roll Plus heart was ‘Honey Heist’ by Grant Howitt. Helen ran this one about three bears trying to break into Honey Con 69. Honey Heist was the first game we ever tried to record for RPH but the audio quality wasn’t great so it will forever be a lost episode

The three player characters from Roll Plus Hearts game of Honey heist, which consist of a brown bear in a flat cap, a panda in a fez and a polar bear in a cowboy hat.
