classic "stayed home bc I felt like shit and ended the day somehow feeling worse" situation so i'll probably be grumpy and stressed out the entire week

i’ve been so busy that I haven’t really done much planning for this draft. I think I want my next 2 picks to be a strong wallbreaker and a fighting resist/immunity but I have no idea whomst

someone sent this to me and I have not been able to stop saying it in her voice ever since

vanessa hudgens basically what we’re gonna poop is pants

Penguin @penguingengar.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

only brought up “[vanessa hudgens voice] basically what we’re gonna poop is pants” once tonight so I would say it was a successful night

threads is especially bad because it popped up AFTER all these other platforms went nuclear. it’s like willingly jumping into the swamp after seeing other people get eaten by gators

it’s a fan-made battle sim! you just plug in your teams and go. much less flashy than the actual games but much more accessible!

110

Penguin @penguingengar.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

okay but all 3 of those bands are all-timers for me. when daphne loves derby was mentioned in dìdi I knew that they were truly experts on that era!!!

Penguin @penguingengar.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

most leagues do it using pokémon showdown, but you can do it in-game too; it just requires a lot of time that way. but it’s essentially a format designed to Not Have A Meta, which I think is cool. you see a lot of unique mons and sets!

110

Penguin @penguingengar.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

it’s a lot easier to go now that I live right near the harbor! but it also sold out crazy fast this year so idk what the vibes will be like

110

Penguin @penguingengar.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

it’s kind of incredible. it’s a live action bratz movie that’s like a dcom with more sinister vibes

my hubris has grown too large (i’m applying to host a magfest panel about pokémon draft league)

okay i’m in another league looking for a teammate. if you want to play a high-tier draft board (think lower ubers like genesect) hmu

it's on pokémon showdown, and it's natdex, so it has all the mons there (outside of banned stuff). it does have the new mega stuff from champions added though

beloved oomfs…one of the draft leagues I help run just opened signups for a new season! it’s natdex with the new megas. there are 3 skill-based divs, so if you’re new, you won’t be thrown to the sharks. come try it out! you’ll have fun. I prommy discord.gg/Db8NW4MFK
