Nothing like your computer locking up and realizing in that moment that you haven't saved in the past half hour, at least. Here's your sign to save whatever you're working on.

I've had my name spelt wrong a number of different ways over my lifetime, but this is a new one. And from the government too 🤦‍♀️

Took a drive up Mount Washington today. Despite it being totally clouded in at the top, still had some gorgeous views on the way up/down. Will have to try again someday for clearer weather.

Noticing more businesses using AI for their little road signs (pest services, driveway paving etc), and it's kind of hilarious how terrible they are. They're so 'busy' and definitely made without any graphic design in mind, so they're impossible to read.

Dolly Parton was a supporter of Willa B. Farms, an animal rescue in Old Hickory, TN. I hope you will consider a donation in her memory. 💔 www.willabfarms.com/donate

Photo from the 1970s of the most radiant and wonderful Dolly Parton, smiling brilliantly and holding a tiny orange tabby kitten up to her cheek.

I used to live in Biddeford not too far from the shooting. I think about the immigrant families that lived in my building. The whole situation breaks my heart. Fuck ICE

Right now the world is full of people who want to code and write and paint and film stuff and people who want to play and read and look at and watch stuff and nobody is allowed to do any of that because some unrelated third guy isn't making enough money off the deal

Having long awaited minor surgery tomorrow. Little extra *stress* right before. Water pump exploded in my basement, turning into a geyser and soaking everything. So no water for me in the morning, and a fun cleanup project for later 🫠🙃

Surely I’m the only person experiencing this currently

I pick up my phone and am immediately immolated by the worst news in the whole world

Anxiously, I attempt to work. Alas, this cycle will repeat and I will not escape samsara.
