If you've never had a chance to watch Big Bad Game-a-thon, it's a 3 day weekend celebration of jank and shenanigans, with most everyone treating the games with respect and pure unadulterated enjoyment. It's my favorite event of the year by miles. It's basically a new holiday for us at this point.

Yeah, I'm interested in dissecting the Terranigma release because my assumption is that it's just the JP NTSC version running while directing pointers at the EN PAL version to produce a lua script rendered translation. So there should be 2 roms in there somewhere.

Also, having Moraff's World as your first dungeon crawler, as I explained when I was replaying it, was a funny experience, because I didn't understand why in every other dungeon crawler I tried. I could only see in one direction instead of all four at the same time.

I like to think that with the first couple Might and Magic games, lack of anything useful information wise was just a feature, lol. Somewhere 30 hours in, you just stumble on a shred of plot and have a weird "Oh shit!" style epiphany and thats why i love them.

I'm only on number 13, and let me tell you, what people call a diablo like, varies wildly. If it's an isometric action RPG, it just kinda gets lumped in even if combat / loot isn't remotely similar. It's okay though, we'll have a better list when I'm actually done, lol

I'm sad this is still 100k away from mode 7 functionality, as mode 7 is so core to SNES games. It's in basically every single game somewhere. Even if it's just a stupid splash screen, gimmick boss fight, or goofy credits at the end. It feels like it was a development requirement at the time.

Oh, and the final one I always recommend unless they absolutely hate gambling. Vegas Stakes. It's Gamba w/ random RNG events and save files. It's pretty relaxing to just throw some dice or video poker for a bit.

There are 5 Super Bomberman games total, 2 US, 1 Pal, and 2 Japan and the last 2 don't need a translation or reading to finish. Then there is also Bomberman B-Daman, which is a weird bowling puzzle game. Also I think there are a couple extra SFC tetris battle gaiden games / tetris bombliss
