2009 (just 17 years ago), NF leader Nick Griffin was on Question Time. It was a shocking scandal to have an avowed racist on TV, and everyone lined up to denounce him. It also opened the floodgates. #BBCQT has a lot to answer for.

Things are in a pretty bad state when Michael #Gove, mate of #Rupert, can issue a far more forceful remediation of #Trumps threat to sue/destroy the #BBC that #Starmer or #Nandy. This is probably the most loved institution in Britain we're talking about. We MUST defend it, even while it must change.

#Trump thinks he can simultaneously (a) create a historic settlement in the Middle East and (b) reshape European defence and East European borders. All in a few weeks and with a team of amateur diplomats, while destroying Washington's reservoir of profesisonal expertise. Good luck with all that.
