FMLA paperwork is not appropriate for parents with sick kids. It’s impossible to fill out. If I had a crystal ball, I’d play the lottery. As it is, I don’t know how to answer the questions.

Stimulants for ADHD treatment help millions of kids and adults manage their daily lives (and keep everyone safer on the road) but shortages have been ongoing off and on for years. They don’t care.

I cannot stand Doc Marshall. He should know better about a lot of the poor public health platforms he endorses based on his medical training. I hope Rev. Hamilton can push him out. During early COVID years Hamilton was very pro-science so I think he'll be good for Kansas. www.ms.now/rachel-maddo...

Why Kansas has the nation’s most interesting U.S. Senate race
The red state hasn’t sent a Democrat to the U.S. Senate since 1932. It’s hard not to wonder whether that streak might soon end.

This is exactly how I see it. MAGA will have a stronger voice, their followers will dig in deeper. And if we're forced to watch it to get news at all because other news is shut down they will infect new brains because people will start to believe what they see, even if they think it might be biased.

I remember the days of trying to help my child calm down by suggesting they take a deep breath, but all that led to was a louder yell. Triggered brains, especially ADHD brains, don't work well, and even calm, rational words can hit wrong. Learn more drkristenstuppy.substack.com/p/when-talki...

Anyone else scared by this? It’s terrifying. They want to control the news so we have no idea what’s really happening. No reporters in the White House. Just his goons pushing what they want us to see. Where else does the government control tv? Not in the free world, that’s for sure.

Whether a maternal diet rich in eggs and peanuts during pregnancy and lactation can reduce the risk of infants developing food allergies is unclear. Research findings from the PrEggNut trial are summarized in a new Quick Take video. nej.md/4y7Gc1m

Why Depression May Look Different in Young People with ADHD
Depression commonly co-occurs with ADHD. When this combination occurs is associated with greater clinical complexity and poorer outcomes.

No way would this system work for anything with strict deadlines. My package was so close but now is sitting in a state far away. It did move cities in Minnesota, but last movement was yesterday and still in MN. ???

A USPS package made it from several states away to the city next to mine, went a little further north but still in the KC area, then to Minnesota. It’s been traveling the country for 3 weeks and I needed it a month ago. The postal service person I spoke with basically said I just have to wait. 📦

The lack of understanding is a problem. Most sick people just breathe into shared space without any consideration of others. If you are masking for that reason, thank you! Of course, even better- mask to help prevent getting sick in the first place.

What exactly can an executive order mean if it cannot be fulfilled? There are no separate measles, mumps, and rubella vaccines. We cannot separate out the MMR, nor is there any reason to based on large well done studies showing safety and efficacy of the MMR. But will we be forced to give nothing?

Most of us seasoned pediatricians have only seen measles in textbooks. I see atopic dermatitis and eczema daily but it can look very different in different people and at various times. I suspect stock photos are used, and they’re hard to verify. JAAD is more likely to have actual images.

I'm all for vaccines and believe the military should require flu vaccines. But we can't blame the April decision to stop mandatory vaccines, as seems to be happening in the news. Flu vaccines are given in the Fall and protection wanes over time. We shouldn't cherry pick either.
