After some investigating on twt, it seems like the twinks do not fuck each other 😔

100

peachy @peachylixir.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

It's scary!! And tbh it's SO disappointing to get the comment email and get all excited only to realize it's spam 😭 it really is a special kind of hurt lmfao

peachy @peachylixir.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

That's so annoying!! Usually I see ones that are nice but vague with maybe 1-2 sentences thrown in at the end that mention the characters to tailor it to your fic. This one you shared didn't feel botty at all until that ig drop 😭

Someone who plays nu:carnival let me know if the twinks smash PLEASE

// genshin Rhinedottir's design is waaay cooler than Ronova's IN MY OPINION Like out of all the long awaited character designs, I think she and Alice are the only ones where I'm like hell yeah that eats

Oooh that looks so yum!!!! Also I was about to express surprise that you weren't able to find guava paste in your local supermarket before I remembered I live in a predominantly latine area and that's why it's easy to find lmao

Idk I think it annoys me because writers are already constantly begging for comments in general but then every so often everyone goes to implore this one specific person who ignored all the other posts about it.

010

peachy @peachylixir.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

It feels a little mean but I gotta admit I roll my eyes a little every time I see those posts that are like "wait no but guys do writers REALLY really like comments on their fic? Even mine??" I know some folks need the reassurance, but like... you dont have to search far to find the answer is yes.

Photographer's left hand holding up a paper booklet and transparent film against a window. Outside, there are blurry green leaves and the sky. There's a clear bird strike sticker on the window. The film shows the characters Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang from Link Click. The booklet is has crinkle-cut edges on the top and bottom, reading: "Movie Nights by no_good_skyla. (Contains mild spoilers for Season 3) a Lu Guang centric fan fiction for the unofficial Link Click RE:DIVE 05 fan event"

It’s funny knowing how much discourse Steven Universe caused and then finally watching it and basically every episode ending with a character going “ah gosh, I hurt someone’s feelings and I feel bad about it. It’s important to apologize to someone you hurt” because it’s still ultimately a kid’s show

I don't really land on one side in the sub vs dub debate, but I will say I find it funny that whenever a jp VA is loud and over the top for a role, it's lauded as a great performance, but when en VAs do it, it's considered cringe and an example of why dubs are bad 🤔

Last time I went for a physical, the doc sent me to another room to get blood drawn and told me "and when you get back in the room, we're going to have to talk to about the Weight Thing :/" like ???? Oh okay, you aren't even gonna base it off any of my test results, just going straight into it huh
