Ouuhh..... the only reason she's still so high up is because her competition are all either undermined townspeople, missing persons, or emotional domestic terrorists.... and the terrorists aren't too far behind!!! Linnea could honestly be #4 instead alol? Honestly I don't know how much credit to give Linnea for this boot given the whole crab miscommunication, but aside from that had a quiet but decent premiere with a good job confessional, & was both important & memorable in how the vote went now that Savu could really flourish with a tribal. She was the MORest of the three conspirators though, so, eh. Alexis at #7 is in a siiiimilar boat to Linnea, a little bit more complex this episode & her original persian connection to Ana was cute personal content, and being /correct/ about her reasons for pushing Ana give her another boost, but she was kind of left behind post-IC, and her UTR1 premiere where she was instead a direct voice for Eric to go.... idk. She was /shown/ shifting gears which I appreciate, but it's just not lining up the greatest for her.

I can't pretend like Jelly's content isn't /good/, she has connections on both tribes in her fling with Ori, she has personal content, she was shown assessing the problems with her game and pivoting, the idol find was great, her duo with Patt seems important, and her high vis despite her lost voice is kind of crazy. There's SO much going for her. But I just have such a sinking feeling still about just how much went wrong for her e1. About not distancing /enough/ from Devin, about being thrust into an alliance with her target last episode in Brady, about that alliance of 5 including two trainwrecks & an invis, about Taku still feeling like the less dynamic tribe (what is Maggie's position? Kilby's? Thien An's? What are Lewis and Jenna /doing/ in the meantime? vs Just Cristian on Savu being utr)... idk. Something in my heart and soul is telling me that yes Jelly has longevity, but she's not winning. I'd honestly have her much lower than this but like I said earlier, it's a bit of a race to the bottom, and so by default all of her Good:tm: is still keeping her relatively afloat.

Crapshoot guess that if any of the trainwrecks (Brady, Devin, Rob, Eric) actually win, it'd be Brady? In the new Taku power structure, endeared(???) to the audience with his thumb, his constant challenge screaming and Brodyisms on top of this are all potential Things if we're still keeping watch for any Toes, Rice, Secret Alliances, etc. He's also pretty clearly just Like That though, so, lmfao

Mike and Maggie are very utr but both have at least something going for them. Mike's getting (completely wordlessly) tangled into the Taku power structure, and his E1 job confessional was pretty good. Maggod Christor is just meandering around, but she really did throw Aaliyahs name out there first AND... as much as her being lifted like that at the IC did just literally happen.... what are the odds she keeps up a little utrp victory streak for a while until her edit, and her game, blossom into something beautiful? She's taking it. Just wait.

Nothing wrong with Lewis, but nothing really great with him either? Kind of empty for an exilee. Ori whiffed this episode but was at least able to give his reasons, though unless something comes from this I feel like he's losing his potential 'learning' arc. Devin....... ugh. Weaponized Honesty could be his Thing:tm:, but like.... no. No! I say no. We know a lot about Kilby as a person, but he's also just wrong about everything all the time forever alol.

Rob and Eric.... lol. putting Eric above Rob solely because his Gina premiere felt more P than Rob's wife and kids lmfao. Carter didn't even get a chance to defend or separate himself from Ana & it feels like it would've been So easy to give him /anything/. Thien An at least clocked Devin, Cristian is a PA who got lost.
