A win! Thank you for always making your voices heard. The House passed a DHS funding bill by voice vote this afternoon, ending a 75-day shutdown the longest agency shutdown in U.S. history. The GOP caved. The bill funds DHS but includes no money for ICE or Customs and Border Protection.

This isn't about "training issues." The murderer who executed Renee Good has been with ICE for 10 years, and according to DHS, the murderer who executed Alex Pretti has been there for 8 years. These aren't "new recruits," or officers that can be "retrained." ICE can't be reformed. Abolish ICE.

JUDGE: So your point is that it doesn't matter how clear the statement of the quid pro quo (Bondi's letter) is that it can never implicate anti-commandeering as long as it's law enforcement? (It seems that this Bondi letter is a big issue)

So. To date, I have seen ONE Dem Rep in Congress call for ICE to be abolished. Ilhan Omar. Not defunded. Not trained and restrained. ABOLISHED. Are there any others? If so, post them and let's get a count on the number of Dems in Congress.
