this one especially is really interesting to me as a pdh commander because while it is probably a little lower on power level than most folks would like, it does give you a little victory condition to shoot for every turn and that honeslty is a big part of what keeps things fresh from game to game

For the past 20 years I've been working on #MTGPauper as a format, and one thing remains true: there are people who claim to love the format but constantly want it to be something else. Pauper is great because it is Pauper; trying to make it something else isn't even a well intentioned paved path.

in light of this, zeta is going to be included in the legal card pool for pdh too (starting 9/7). weve always supported aligning our card pool with 60c and find significant value in easing transition from those folks to pdh and vice versa. weve been consistent on this for almost a decade now THREAD
